Patient conveniences...no longer optional for websites

We recently launched a new website for Cincinnati GI, a group of independent gastroenterologists. Like many medical websites, the original one had a very clinical tone that relied on visitors to know a lot more about their conditions than perhaps they actually did.

The new site takes the perspective of two patient types: a current patient and a prospective one.

  • Current patients can now easily find information relevant to managing their relationship with the practice. They can download and retrieve routine forms, request appointments, and pay their bills online.

  • Prospective patients can explore conditions based on symptoms they may be experiencing. They can also get to know physicians based on their bios and easily find directions to one of a dozen offices.

The site also features a blog that offers both patient groups insights into current health topics to expand their knowledge. From a technical perspective, meta descriptions will now help optimize the site for searchability, enhancing the group’s visibility in the market.

This site took less than three months to build, from strategic concept to launch. If you’ve been putting off updating your site – medical or otherwise – give us a call. We love transforming static sites into places that help visitors on their journeys for information.
